FACE TAPING

Face Taping – based on the principles of kinesiology taping – gently relieves facial tension, visually reduces fine lines, and minimizes visible swelling. The elastic tapes support the natural regeneration process of the skin's surface.

As an effective, non-invasive method, Face Taping offers purely physical support for your daily beauty routine. Perfect for anyone who wants to naturally address the first signs of skin aging and aims for a skin that feels firmer and more vital.

PREPARATION

For optimal adhesion and the best effect of the face tapes, the right base is crucial.

  • Cleanse & Care: Thoroughly cleanse your face of dirt and makeup. Then apply an oil-free cream or lotion and let it absorb completely for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Important: Completely avoid rich facial oils or greasy serums before taping – the adhesive cannot stick to an oily skin surface.

CUT

Kinesiology tapes have a special characteristic: they are elastic only in length, but firm in width.

  • Note the direction: Always cut your tapes so that the stretchable direction (lengthwise) runs parallel to the facial area you want to support.
  • Round the corners: Slightly round the edges of the cut strips with scissors. This prevents them from curling up on the pillow at night.

APPLICATION

When applying, the most important basic rule for the face applies: your skin is gently stretched, the tape itself is applied completely without stretching.

  • Set anchor: Peel off the paper at one end and fix this "anchor" without tension on the skin.
  • Smooth out: Gently stretch the skin area with the fingers of your free hand and smooth down the rest of the tape in sections.
  • Activate: Finally, rub the tape gently warm for a few seconds to optimally activate the skin-friendly adhesive.

DURATION

Taping can be integrated into your daily routine flexibly and without rigid rules.

  • Wearing time: Leave the tapes on your skin for at least 3 to a maximum of 8 hours. The application works just as well during the day as it does for regeneration overnight.
  • Skin break: Give your skin a complete break from taping at least twice a week to optimally support its natural recovery process.

REMOVE

The skin on your face is particularly delicate. To protect your skin barrier, you should never rip off the tapes dry or with a jerk.

  • Gently loosen: Before peeling off the tapes, soak them generously with some facial oil or warm water to loosen the adhesive.
  • Roll off: Loosen one corner and slowly roll the tape off flat and close to the skin surface in the direction of hair growth. Hold the skin behind it slightly taut with your free hand.
